Since Atari offered 4,500,000 shares to the general public on
November 7, 1986, I (for one) have taken more than just a sidelong
glance at the American Exchange.
I then asked someone on the net what the ticker symbol was. I didn't
get a reply (maybe it wasn't read), so here it is:
ATC
Also, I might point out that the stock has done nothing but go up.
Starting offer was placed at $11.50/share and has really risen over
a 3-month period, closing today at $22.63/share -- almost double.
This may be premature, but to me Atari looks very healthy!
