A member of our Atari club has bought a Magic Sac: so far so good. However, he has three problems, for which someone might have an answer. Firstly, we have the German Atari, with a key between the left shift key and the Y/Z (Z in the US, Y here), plus a key to the right of the return key. He has tried all sorts of tests with localisers, but always finishes up with either no reaction to the first of these, or the whole bottom line shifted by one: similar problems for the other odd key. Has anyone (in Germany?) got an answer? Secondly, we have standardised on Mac Plus, rather than thin or fat Macs. Therefore, it is not easy to see how to verify that any program will work in a thin/fat environment (and hence perhaps Magic Sac) before transferring it. (He has gone back to Finder 4.1) Thirdly, most of us have Epsons or clones on our STs. I presume that this should be done by having an Epson printer driver put into the Mac software before transferring, but all our Macs have Imagewriters. Wir wunschen beaucoup help. Dankie!
