[comp.sys.atari.st] Help with Uniterm v.1.6g setup file

tynor@gitpyr.UUCP (02/02/87)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just got a copy of UNITERM v1.6g and am very impressed. UNITERM just
keeps getting better! Now there's even Kermit support.

A problem, though. I can't seem to create a DEFAULT.SET file! UNITERM
always complains that it can't find it's setup file. Has the filename been
changed? The last two versions of UNITERM I've had use DEFAULT.SET, and
I've tried putting it in both the current directory and the root, without
luck. I've created these files with the new UNITERM, so I doubt that the
format of the files are wrong.

Can anyone offer some advice?

Progress means replacing something wrong with something more subtly wrong.

Yes, the new default file is called uniterm.set.

Enjoy!

As the documentation upgrade I got with v1.6f states, the default setup file
name has been changed to UNITERM.SET...

Uniterm now wants its default file to be named UNITERM.SET (or maybe it's
UNITERM.OPT, but think I was right the first time). A step in the right
direction I think.
