I just spoke with Mark Williams customer relations on the phone. They said that version 2.0 of MWC will begin shipping next week. The changes from version 1 are: * A ramdisk is now included. * Bugs have been fixed. * The documentation has been expanded to include over 200 pages of new material on AES/VDI/LineA, with many examples. (Version 1 has great examples for TOS). * The new manual has a larger margin, so that those who choose to can take the pages out and put them into a binder (a good idea). The cost for version 1 owners who want to upgrade is $55. MW requires that version 1 owners send the page of their manual with the copyright notice in order to get the update (this is the second page of my manual). Maybe I will never have to buy the "official" Atari documentation, if it ever comes out in an affordable form. The Sybex book is great and highly recommended, but it has left me with a lot of unanswered questions. When someone gets their hands on Version 2.0, I would be interested in hearing about it.
