Is the INSTALL.PRG the one by Juerg Lohse (->the man who wrote the OSS/ CCD Compiler)? If so, I've had the program on the SH204 here for over a month without any problems at all, I didn't want to mention this to the net, because I'm not quite sure about the status (PD etc.) of the program, I got it from the local shop without any comment..... Simon Poole K538915@CZHRZU1A.BITNET PS If INSTALL.PRG is the program I'm thinking of I don't think ATARI has any rights to it at all.

Well, I've been using INSTALL.PRG by J. Lohse for several months now. However, I still keep a copy of the 'new' AHDI.PRG in the AUTO folder of the boot partition of my HD, as his program has been available on one of the PD-Disks that the german computer magazine ST-Computer is distributing, before the new AHDI was released (sometime in Oct'86). His program is PD, but the HD-driver buried in his code probably isn't. Michael Doerr, Uni. of Kaiserslautern ...!seismo!unido!uklirb!mdoerr

It took me several days to recover from the damages. Glad I made that backup. Bill Wood (!usceast!tech)
