[I'm posting this for a colleague at a site that's not yet connected to the net. Please reply to him rather than to me. Kay] We are considering buying twenty or so STs for students learning about the 68000. We would want to buy a good, usable assembler that doesn't cost too much - twenty copies of even cheap software soon becomes prohibitively expensive! Are there any good, *c*h*e*a*p* (or even free!) assemblers that anyone would personally recommend? Also, we'd like to be able to hook up an EPROM blower to an ST. Does anyone have experience of doing this? What blower did you use? how easy was it to interface? was the support software available, or did you write it yourself? Any information *very* gratefully received. Please e-mail your responses, as we don't receive the news yet. Alastair Railton ...ukc!warwick!covpoly!alastair -- "Jung'f n tbbq ohqql?
