[comp.sys.atari.st] spurious keyboard characters and multiple hard disks

Re: spurious characters from the keyboard

A 6301 (6801 compatable processor from Hitachi) handles the keyboard
scanning. The scan codes are then passed over a serial line to a
6850 serial line controller. The problem (if it really exists) would
probably lie in the 6301, and not the 68000.

Re: driver for multiple hard disks

On CompuServe, I saw someone mention that they were using the Supra
hard disk driver to control both an Atari HD and a Supra HD. The
new driver from Supra supports multiple HD's and can be gotten from
CompuServe, ATARIDEV, in the Hardware DL.

Re: "Don't crush that dwarf, hand me the pliers!"

A guy I used to work with used to have that set as his personal name
in his VMSMAIL header. Do you know him, or did you come up with that
from the same movie that he did? His initials are GL, one of the funniest
people that I ever had the opportunity to work with. Hey Gordon, you out
there??? :-)
