Chris Rhodin at BMS informed me that there is a problem with INITCLK.PRG which is easily fixed by patching the binary. THE PROBLEM: the on-board clock will NOT accept as a valid date a two-digit day for the 12 calendar months prior to February in a leap year. ( No, I did NOT figure it out...I just called Chris and he gave me the description and solution. All I knew was "Clock doesn't set date correctly".) THE FIX: In INITCLK.PRG, offset 0x1A6, change 0xC0 to 0x80 . THE CREDIT: should all go to Berkeley MicroSystems for their excellent support and products. -- Walt Weber PHONE: (617) 256-6600 x7004 Apollo Computer GENIE: W.WEBER Chelmsford, Mass. THANK YOU WALT!!! I thought I'd done something again to F* up my clock. I noticed it was one day off so I went to reset it with initclk and wound up with the clock stuck in the first week of every darn month. My first thought was to write Jim Turner to see if he had a patch. But my mail got kicked back <imagen down?>. thanks from all us BMS users!! -- Jeff Gortatowsky {seismo, allegra}!rochester!kodak!elmgate!jdg Eastman Kodak Company These comments are mine alone and not Eastman Kodak's.
