Re: GEMBOOT and Supra disk I took a deep breath and tried GEMBOOT on my 30 meg Supra disk. All seems to have gone well, and I now have about 45 folders on the hard disk with no probelms. I have not run the daylights out of it, but I copied about 15 folders (1.5 MByte) worth of stuff back onto the hard disk without problems, after I installed. I was most careful with my boot disk. It was brand new, with the following file order: supboot.prg (supra hard disk driver), settime.prg (time setting program), scache.prg (disck cache), spool.prg (print spooler), and finally gemboot.prg. It simply worked. System booted as normal, logged in my three partitions of the disk drive, and up came the desktop. GEMDIR gives a nice tree of the folders! I will mail further messages if I run into trouble. EVERY LAST THING is backed up to floppies just in case. Jess Neri Neri@nrl3.arpa DISCLAIMER: I'm on my own on this too!
