[comp.sys.atari.st] software distribution

sshurr@wellesley.EDU (Scott Shurr) (04/17/87)

Greetings,

Could someone out there explain to me how to receive the sources and
binaries that seem to be out there somewhere for the ST? I've seen
the phrases comp.sources.atari.st and comp.sys.atari.st mentioned.
What does each stand for? Can someone provide an address to use to
receive things from these places? These look like domain addresses
but there is no domain called .st as far as I know. The system I am
on is connected to CSNET only (NOT ARPANET or UUCP or BITNET). Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

we are working on this one now, what i am trying to establish is a
'base' of people on various net's to whom i can send postings and in
turn they will make them available to everyone on their net. hang in
there, it's getting better all the time....
