Ok. I've collected all of the responses to the first NAG poll and here are
the results:
Total no. of respondants: 62 <-- suprisingly small
% who think NAG is a good idea: 100 <-- no surprise
% who want a name change: 24 <-- ok, let's change the name
I'm putting together NAG poll #2 right now, look for it in the next couple
of days.

Greetings fellow netlanders. I've been away for a while, so I wanted to
touch bases with everybody who repsonded to the second NAG poll.
The response was _quite_ a bit less than I had hoped for (less than 75
people responded). Frankly, I don't see how such a smallish group of
customers can have any significant effect on Atari's marketing policy and/or
customer support practices. However, I am still going to send the results
to Atari and post a summary to the net in the next couple of days.
Will there be a third NAG poll? That depends on you, and on Atari. Back in
the old days (can you say "Camelot" ;-) I sent a letter to Alex, asking his
advice on who I should try to get our poll to at Atari. Unfortunately, my
letter was never answered. I suppose I'll go ahead and send a copy to Neil
Harris, and hope it doesn't get filed in a black hole. If you still want
to participate, I'll put together another poll in the next couple of weeks.
Send suggestions to me via email. Toodle-oo.
-Rich
