[comp.sys.atari.st] UNITERM 1.7a-Kermit

Has anybody gotten Kermit to work in this version? I'm trying to use it
to transfer files from an IBM System 370 without success. Does Kermit
in Version b work? Is there any chance of a new Uniterm posting to the
Net?

Actually, for me, Kermit works in version 1.7a, but not in 1.7b When up-
loading with 1.7b, I keep getting 'Host sent message: Invalid Packet Type'.
Using the _exact same_ settings in 1.7a works fine. Guess that we can't
have everything :-)

UniTerm's kermit works fine for me, in V1.7a AND V1.7b. However, sometimes
when I am calling CompuServe or some other system, all characters will be
printed from the international character set until I switch to 7 bits. I
never had that problem in V1.7a. Simon, are you there?

Many thanks to all who responded to my plea for help. This was the first
time that I ever really posted anything to the net, and I didn't really expect
to get as much response as I did to my question. Thanks Again!
