I have just purchased Publishing Partner, and desparately need some font
files. It turns out that I have an early release (1.00) with several
.FNT files (for the fonts that display on the screen) but only one .PFT
files, which is required to print the fonts. My dealer was able to
provide the 1.01 update, but no fonts to go with it, so all I can print
is Helvetica, a rather boring sans serif type font. I understand that
other fonts are available and are public domain, but I don't have access
to any sources for them.
I would greatly appreciate any font sets that anyone could send me. I
have sent in my original disks for updating, but smail between here and
the US is so slow that I am not sure that the updates will arrive befor
the Canada Post mail strike that we expect to hit in mid-June.
Any other useful files or advice on using PP would be welcome as well.
I have a PrintMaster to Degas converter program which can be used to
incorporate PrintMaster icons in PP files, if anyone is interested (I
haven't tried it yet, it was posted to the BBS I run).
