Hi, I am in serious need of a ramdisk, public domain or not, which will work in my present configuration. Autobooting Supra Hard Disk Startup Batch File Processor Version 1.3 (available on GENIE and CS) 4 Patitions. (C,D,E,F) I want to be able to have my STARTUP batch file processor STOP during booting and: Run c:\bin\ramdisk.prg? Anyone who uses STARTUP is aware how this works, problem is that I have not found a suitable ramdisk. Eternal insists on resetting the computer every time it runs. (I don't need an eternal ramdisk, as a matter of fact, I set my reset switch to do a cold start at bootup) I have INTRAM ramdisk, but this one does NOT let me choose a drive selector above F. So, I need a ramdisk that is: 1) Meant to be run at bootup. I will be happy with desk accessory ones to. 2) Allows one to choose WHICH drive identifier it uses, and use something above F (like G or H). 3) Allows the user to set the size either when it is run in the AUTO folder or by running a configram program. (like ETERNAL works). 4) DOES not reset the system when first run. (No reset-proof ramdisks). --- 5) Works. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Rick Flashman 1040 N. I have seen one called "FRAMDISK" floating around, seems like just the ticket. It can be configured by placing a file called RAMDISK.INF in your root directory. (Or something like that.) -- Bill Wisner ..{sdcsvax,ihnp4}!jack!wolf!billw
