Erratum: In my posting about IBM-PC-floppies I wrote PCFORMAT;
what I actually meant was the program DCFORMAT, which does NOT
produce a boot sector recognised by my PC-DOS 3.2.

Some remarks on posted program's filetypes or file extensions:
Documentations are essential for programs to be used, and
fortunately most posted programs really come with a documentation file.
Now, many people call that xxx.DOC, although it is not in 1st_Word
format. This makes display of the file not as straightforward
as for a filetype of ASC or TXT, since many people have associated
1st_Word with this type, and double clicking invokes immediately
this program (which is slow and not required to show the file).
So PLEASE use ASC or TXT as extensions for ASCII-files, and consider
DOC to be reserved for 1st_Word, it simply makes life easier.
And a second comment: Programs not using GEM should have the extensions
TOS or TTP, unless they are used in the \AUTO\ folder.
