Recently i have tried to transfer some files from a 520ST+ to a VAX using Uniterm V1.7b 027 with Kermit-Protocol. There were some documentation-files prepared by a text processor which had some <cr> in it for overprinting and underlining. During the transfer all <cr> were eaten by the Uniterm-Kermit. I tried transfering with both Kermits in binary mode and in ascii mode, but it didn't work. I could solve the problem by sending the Files in binary mode and receiving in ascii mode at the Vax. (VAX-Kermit 3.3.111) Perhaps someone might find this information useful. --- werner
