Atari ST memory map questions. A few simple questions, you can either reply directly to me or flood the net. The question is; where do programs get loaded into memory? Do they generally start at a particular location, or is it REALLY dynamic? In particular, when I double click a TOS program what exactly happens? Is there a consensus on the monitor/debugger of choice out there in net land? When I fire up the monitor, where should I look for my program? And finally, what is (if there is any) the definitive documentation for the ST? Thanks in advance, John Lottey (lottey@tcgould.tn.cornell.edu)

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ABACUS BOOKS. You CAN buy the documentation seperately now, for about $100. Call Cindy Claveran for details. (The operator at Atari's main number, (408) 745-2000) can forward you.) I think that the $100 gets you the documentation with NO support. -- -Landon Dyer, Atari Corporation {sun,amdcad,lll-lcc,imagen}!atari!dyer The views expressed here do not necessarily reflect those BUSINESS of Atari or the AI software that has taken over my brain.
