I'd like to use PC Ditto via the ST DSDD disks...all I really want to do with it is to run some PD engineering and scientific programs that can't be easily converted to the ST (because the bozo authors don't supply source code). I called the local pc peddlers and they said they've got dos 3.2 for IBM and for Compaq on 5 1/4" only because 'all the 3.5" machines come with it, why should we stock it?' Would there be any problem with getting one of these large-format versions and copying it to a 3.5" disk? The guy at the pc place thought a generic dos (rather than IBM or Compaq name brand) on 3.5" would be better but he wasn't thrilled about ordering one. Where are PC Ditto users getting dos (aside from the pc at work, I mean)? So far I've found only one ad for dos 3.2 in the magazines. Thanks, Don FXDDR@ALASKA.BITNET
