I have some problems with the GEM format of the picture files which are made by the excellent program UNITERM. The idea is to make the picture as good as possible on a mainframe computer and then edit it further on the atari. I would like to use the latest version of EASY-DRAW for this purpose. After I preview the picture on the atari and save it in .GEM format, I can use the output program of EASY-DRAW to get a hardcopy. However when I try to read the .GEM file into EASY-DRAW nothing happens. The .GEM files of EASY-DRAW are different from the ones produced by UNITERM. I used the following configuration: 1) ATARI-1040 with EASY-DRAW and UNITERM on harddisk 2) GDOS version 1.1 loaded both for EASY-DRAW and UNITERM 3) UNITERM version 1.7b 4) EASY-DRAW version which can only read .GEM file (no more .EZD) Is there anybody who knows to read the .GEM files from UNITERM into EASY-DRAW and does anyone know where to find some info about the metafile structure ?
