Hello I have recently compiled isetl for the st. It will be available via anonymous ftp on clutx.clarkson.edu. Does anyone have any ideas on where else I should put it. I am sorry but I cannot give out copies to individuals. Last time I did that was for icon and received about 50 replies. I quickly learned how much I dislike UUCP. A brief discription of isetl is in order here. Isetl is an interactive version of Setl (Set Language) developed by Gary Levin here at Clarkson. It does differ on many points from setl but many of the ideas still hold. Isetl is a 'very high level language' with an empasis on mathematical notation. This is not to say that it can only be used for mathematics. Dynamic programming and object-oriented programming can be utilized painlessly. Michael DeCorte mrd@clutx.clarkson.edu p.s. I should have smalltalk available in a week or two. p.p.s. I know of public domain versions of Isetl, Icon, Lisp, Forth and small-C. Are there any other public domain languages that I have missed?
