I've been communicating with James Turner, the moderator, and it seems like he plans to continue with it. We've begun setting up an FTPable archive on this machine. Jim has been sending me some of the original postings, and I've also been raiding the SCORE archives. ("mget *", leave for the evening... }-) It's been taking a long time to wade through them all, uudecode them, etc. and make sure they're intact (as a large amount of the stuff *isn't*, unfortunately...). (Er, the stuff Jim has been sending me is OK, though.) He seems to be rather busy too, considering I've been waiting to hear about progress with ST ARC as well as UUPC... By the way, while I'm at it, jabbering away like this... Has anyone been saving the recent postings to the binaries and sources newsgroups? I caught the zmodem for Unix, but I missed the Zmodem for ST stuff. Can anyone send that over, please? (mail offers first, eh?) Thanks. [by the way... Has anyone tried porting NetHack 1.4 to the ST yet? I would, but I already promised myself I'd get ARC, TCP/IP, and UUCP running first...] -- -- Howard Chu "Of *course* it's portable. It's written in C, isn't it?"
