HELP !!!!!! I am starting to shop around for a printer for my ST and I am confused. I want a printer to print program listings, letters, documents etc. I don't need 'letter quality' and would like to spend $300.00 or less especially the 'Less' part. It's my understanding that the ST handles 2 different kinds of printers - 'Atari' type and 'EPSON' compatibles. Is this correct ??? How do I tell if other brands are 'Epson compatbile' ??? Can I trust a computer salesperson ??? What's the difference between 'Atari' printers and 'Epson compatibles' ? Does anyone out there have recommendations for a printer to fit these needs ? Your help is greatly appreciated, keith hedger

Is this correct ??? I have a Panasonic KX-P1091 which I understand has now been renamed the 1081i. I works fine. I have friends who have the Star SG-10. They work terrifficly as well. Both can be had for well under $300. Near letter quality on both printers is excellent. >How do I tell if other brands are 'Epson compatbile' ??? I would think the literature should tell you. About trusting computer sales people....... Hope you run into a good one! Hope this helps, Martin
