Six questions for Netlanders: 1) Is the new version (v1.2, I think) of VIP Professional compatible with GDOS. The old version really screws up the menu bar routines and gets in GDOS's way. 2) When the Resource Construction Set (v2.1) first runs from my Hard Disk, the floppy drive always turns on for a while. Does anyone know why this is? I have the RCS.INF in the same directory as the program. 3) What are the newest versions of RCS and Alcyon C out? 4) Neil! This is for you! When the blitter comes out, how will some of us without CompuServ or Genie accounts find out how to access it? Will there be some documentation? I read recently that it will employ Xbios(64), but that was the only thing I read. Can you provide any details? 5) Can someone send me a commented C source showing how to use the mouse exception call in VDI? It's not hard to call it, of course, but what kind of information will my routine receive, and in what registers or stack? 6) Lastly, when I use 1st_word (no laughing!), sometimes, I notice that hitting two keys quickly in succession, especially the cursor keys, cause the mouse cursor to turn on. Does anyone know why? - Warner Young W H Y ? ... because...
