[comp.sys.atari.st] Lattice C upgrade

waynekn@tekig5.TEK.COM (Wayne Knapp) (09/15/87)

Well I got my copy of Lattice C at the end of July. Since then I've seen the
version 3.04 has come out. Problem is I haven't heard anything from METACOMCO
about upgrades. I tried to call all of the US numbers but they have been
disconnected. So now I doult if my regisistion card even went to valid address.
I called up ANTIC and they said that they are discontinuing METACOMCO stuff,
so I've really struck out. So I now have to send a letter to England and hope
for the best.

In the meantime does anyone know how to get an upgrade?

                                   Thank you,
                                      Wayne Knapp

   Yes . . . send mail to

  Metacomco
  26 Portland Square
  Bristol BS28RZ

You'll need to send them
   o Your registration number
o Your original disks (These will fit in an airmail envelope.)
o A check or money order for app. $64.00 (#34.50+#4.00 airmail)

Tell them you want an upgrade to Lattice C version 3.04 (at least).

NOTE: Write "Electronic Media Enclosed" on your envelope or you'll
regret it! I can still hear the "THWACK!" as the postal clerk
       stamped mine . . .

While we are on this subject...

Ever since MetaCompco pulled itself back to Britain, I have been unable to
find a US mail order house that carries the new Lattice. (I have fund
plenty of places that have Lattice 3.03 or less, however.) Can anyone
give me the name of a US mail order house carrying Lattice C 3.04?

Many thanks in advance...

Metacomco in England takes MasterCard and Visa; much less painful than getting
a foreign-funds check. Also, it's probably not critical whether your old
disks survive the trip overseas data-intact or not.
