I need some help with the Prtblk XBIOS function in the MWC package. I'm using version 1.1 (I haven't received my upgrade yet), and have entered the Prtblk example in the manual. I have also entered the Prtblk.h header file and included it in the main program. From the developer's docs, I discovered that prior to any Prtblk calls, the system variable _prtcnt (0x04ee) must be set to 1. I did that. My printer is a Gemini 10X, capable of the 120 horizontal X 144 vertical resolution described in the developer's prtblk docs. Everything compiles and runs fine, but my question deals with the quality of printer output. I understand for the 1/120 bitmap mode, only the 'draft' and not the 'final' mapping is available. Is this the reason that a regular screen dump via the Alt/Help key combination produces a denser dot pattern than the output of prtblk? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
