I've just started noticing that my mouse isn't working correctly. It doesn't go in straight lines anymore . . . Opening it up, I see fuzz all over the rollers. How do I clean this stuff off without damaging the thing? I looked in the user's guide and all it describes is cleaning the mouse ball itself (all those crushed bacteria, you know 8-( ). -- Jared J. I don't know how proper it is , but I have always used a little alcohol on a cotton swab to clean of the little metal rollers in side the mouse to get mine rolling along better. I have been doing this for a couple of years without any bad effects. I scrape them off with my thumbnail, pushing the junk to the side so the roller does not just roll, and the blow the junk out.

When I purchased my Atari the "official certified service person" told me to clean the mouse by dipping a cotton swab in rubbing alchohol and rubbing the rollers with a few of these until they are clean. That's how I have been cleaning my mouse and it works great. Aric Friesen "My vision is impaired! My vision is impaired!"
