I have seen marble madness on the ST, and I agree it is pretty sad. However, I do have to agree somewhat with Chuck; the bottom line being that there isn't much that the ST does that can't be done on an Amiga, but definitely not vice-versa. This is not meant as a flame on the ST. It still represents a good value for the money. But ports from dissimilar machines rarely hold up well. This is a well known fact. I have Dark Castle for the Mac, and recently have played the version that is available for the PC. It is terrible. Very slow, and the graphics just don't hold up well. Playing it on a AT system helps, somewhat. The digitised sound effects that are so neat on the Mac sound like bees in a beer can on the PC. Yes, I thought long and hard about buying a 1040ST. But I am buying an Amiga 2000 at the end of this month, because it has the software and hardware to do what I want to do (Desktop Video). Hal Netoprhm@ncsuvm.bitnet
