I ran across some weirdness on my 1040ST which has me at a loss. I have a copy of UNITERM on a disk. When I try to run it, it cranks for a while, and then stops with a "Data on disk is corrupt" alert box. (This is the third time my UNITERM has become "corrupt". Everything else on the disk is fine. Different physical disk each time, of course. No other problems with any other disks.) But when I copied the three UNITERM files to RAMDISK from the same "corrupt" disk, I could run UNITERM without any problems from the RAMDISK. How can the same files copy correctly and load correctly after copying, and yet not load directly? This seems contradictory to me.
