[comp.sys.atari.st] DEGAS and other picture formats

Could somebody mail me a description of the DEGAS picture file
format for LOW and MED. resolution pictures.   All I need is the 
byte map of the palette and the offset where the picture's bytes 
start.  Thanks very much.  Information about the other formats
would also be nice.
