Does anyone know how to get actually dial with the the new Uniterm 2.0 Beta? I can load numbers, but I don't know how to dial. Can it be combined with macros on the function keys? By default, the last ten items on the popup menu are bound to the first ten phone numbers. The names of the numbers show up as menu items. So you just press the right mouse button to pop up the menu, and use the left mouse button to click on the item you want to dial. One trick I use is to put some macros I want on the popup menu by defining them as shifted function keys, and then binding the menu items to the shifted function keys (I hardly ever use fn. keys in UniTerm, anyway). All this is done in the initialization file (UNITERM.MAC, I think). You can even rebind the ALT keys, if you want to. As far as I know, 2.0beta was never "released", but I've been told (by Simon) that the real 2.0 should be ready this week. Only he knows what's changed since 2.0beta. No matter what, UniTerm is wonderful. Thanks, Simon. Marion Hakanson Domain: hakanson@cs.orst.edu CSNET : hakanson%cs.orst.edu@relay.cs.net UUCP : {hp-pcd,tektronix}!orstcs!hakanson
