I am wondering if the Megas in the US are being shipped with the blitter
chips in them, up here in Canada the Megas are being shipped without the
blitters and four of the new ROM chips. We did have a Mega4 at the shop
with the blitter installed, but when we Questioned Atari Canada, they said
that the only reason we had one was because it was to be our demo unit?????
I do have a Mega 2 on order, but I was told that I will be waiting until
Jan. 88 before I get my blitter( what a piss off, go Atari go ). We have also
found 6 programs that will not work on the Megas(mostly games, I will get
a list and post them), they are all using copy protection??????
If I get anymore news, I will post it to the Net.
