Can someone please tell me exactly what VSH manager (in combination with MT-C Shell, right?) will let me do? What I want to do is be able to run more than 1 GEM program at once, for example 1st Word and Publishing Partner and UniTerm. Can it do this? If not what does it do ? Please help me out on this one. The more info, the better. This product really sounds goos to me, I hope it's what I want. thanks _-AVP-_ avp@garfield.UUCP

VSH gives you multiple windows running csh. If you are familiar with suntools or X, then each window is analogous to a shelltool or an xterm. Note that my analogy is not strictly correct because the VSH windows do not have some of the features of shelltool or xterm. If you want to run multiple GEM applications simultaneously, this utility will not do it for you. If you do discover a utility to run multiple GEM applications, I'd like to here about it. -- ---Bob Amstadt bob@wiley.uucp {csvax.caltech.edu,uunet.uu.net,trwrb.uucp}!wiley!bob
