I haven't been paying attention to this list long, so please excuse me if the information I want has gone by before. I'd like to hear about what y'all think of the various C compilers currently available for the ST. Pros, cons, bugs, availability of upgrades, cost, versatility, speed, efficiency of generated code, whatever. My motive, obviously, is trying to decide what one to get for my ST. My primary concern is not to do development in C, but to be able to port in other C code from other random places, so versatility is probably my primary criterion of interest, though I'd still like to hear about other stuff. I'll be happy to post the results of the survey if anyone's interested. On another topic, does anyone know how to get the calendar/clock in the beast to remember its time thru power-downs? I can't believe it's suppsoed to work that way, but I can't find any way to make it remember. What simple solution have I overlooked? Finally, what's a good source of info on how the hardware and software guts of the ST work? Thanks in advance for any info.
