I have started using Gulam beta and like it very much. I discovered what I think is an anomality. If I set the path up as follows set PATH = .,c:\bin,d:\bin,e:\bin,f:\bin,g:\bin I would expect gulam to check . for the executable before any of the specified bin files. As it is I have to do a rehash after a cd so that gulam will find the correct file. I spend about an hour the other day trying to fix a bug in a program, but could not get anywhere with the fixes as I did not realize that I was running an older version of the executable. The quickest way I have of fixing this is to alias cd to a shell script that changes dir and then rehashes. Apart from that no qualms with gulam. Thanks. Ps. Did anyone compare my vapourware release of the 3200 bs with the new machine that atari is releasing? Which sounds more credible? John W.
