As I understand, the *new* upgrade to TOOLS ST-TeX is out. How much is it?
How do I go about getting the upgrade? (TOOLS, are you listening?)

The new release (1.1) is out.
It's TeX 2.1 (2.7 probably next year).
ST-TeX now supports search paths (like the UNIX implementation)
for input, tfm and format files as well as output paths for
dvi, log and fmt output.
It uses `libraries' (similar to UNIX archives) for tfm and font
files, which saves space and time and circumvents the folder problem.
The driver now uses PK fonts (optionally) and supports
EPSON FX, MX, LQ/SQ, NEC P2, P6 and other printers (SLM804 works
since last week and will be included next week or so).
It will also print in landscape mode on most printers.
The driver will utilize the blitter chip (if present) on a mega.
Both TeX and the driver are faster than in the previous release.
The manual is now about 60 pages long, but still in German.
Registered users can upgrade for DM 17.50 per disk (plus postage).
