Has anyone been able to run Publishing Partner from GULAM for more than once? Whenver I run PP the second time and subsequently (from GULAM), the mouse cursor always messes up the menu & screen. While the program still runs fine, it's very annoying to see the mouse cursor leaving behind patches of black/white blocks whenever it's brought to the menu, or an extraneous dead arrow being left here and there. I run a mono 1040ST. I've tried doing a things like show_mosue, hide_mouse, etc. before invoking PP the second time, but to no avail. This problem doesn't occur when PP is ran the first time (from GULAM). If I exit GULAM and re-run PP, no problem. To answer someone's question about fonts for PP, SoftLogik puts out Font Disk #1 with Spokane, Thames, and Devoll. Font Factory ( PO Box 17422, Phoenix, AZ 85011. Tel: 602 265-7849 ) puts out much more fonts. Here're some: Disk #1) Avant Garde, Courier, Calligraphy. Disk #2) Times, Helvetica Narrow, 16 bit. Disk #3) Chancery, Bookman, Chicago Disk #4) Palatino, Schoolbook, Computer Disk #5) Dingbats, Symbols, 8 bit Disk #6) Complete set of 11 laserWriter Plus screen fonts Palatino looks similar to Times. Symbols include lower/upper case Greek letters, there-exist, for-every, equivalence, contradiction, therefore, etc. All the font disk include printer font and screen font (both color and mono), except disk #6 which I've never seen. Also, Columbia, University_Roman, Hudson, and Saturn fonts are in public domain, I believe. -- CSNET: lean@sbcs.csnet ARPA: lean%suny-sb.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa UUCP: {allegra, hocsd, philabs, ogcvax}!sbcs!lean
