I keep running into DCOPY20.ARC on file servers and BBS's. It is a hoax. Someone has taken DCOPY19.ARC and changed two bytes ONLY so that the screen header says 2.0 instead of 1.9. (You can check this with cmp -l). The documentation files are absolutely identical in every way. This not only wastes time by people trying to upgrade, but it doesn't work right -- DCOPY supports three modes of operation by checking for the file name DCOPY19.??? and acting differently for .PRG, .TOS, and .TTP extensions. If you call it DCOPY20.??? it gets confused and may not work as it is supposed to. I have checked DCOPY20 from three sources, and all are fraudulent. So delete it from your archives and be suspicious if it shows up again. -- Bill Silvert, Modelling/Statistics Group, Biological Sciences Branch Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, NS, Canada B2Y 4A2 UUCP: ...!{uunet,utai,watmath}!dalcs!biomel!bill CDN or BITNET: biomel@cs.dal.cdn
