I need information on gdos. I need to know how to write new device drivers, or find out about someone that already has device drivers for what I want. I am interested in device drivers for the following. Gemini 10 ( Gemini 10x will probably work) Hp 7221 Plotter Unix plot format PostScript All these device drivers will have to be able to write to a file instead of just running it down the printer port. I would prefer information on how to write the device drivers over the actual device drivers, but I'll take what I can get. I have heard that this information is available to "registered developers". And now for a little Flame ..... /******** FLAME ON **********/ I don't really want to be a "registered developer"; I don't feel that paying $300 for a buggy compiler and skimpy docs. is really worth it. Beside I'm not "developing" software, all I want is documentation so I can use the software that I buy. The software package that I bought, uses gdos and the company doesn't want to give me docs on gdos, since I can get the docs by becoming a "registered developer". If you want people to use your product (gdos in this case), you'd better supply documentation for it at a reasonable price. /******** FLAME OFF ********/ Thanks, -- /* Ingo Cyliax * * ...!ihnp4!pur-ee!cyliax ECN, Electrical Engineering Bldg. * * cyliax@ecn.purdue.edu Purdue University, W.
