[comp.sys.atari.st] Out board graphic processer

Hi all, I was just reading a new mag. from Germany, there seems to be an out
board graphics processor that you can get for the ST. It plugs in through the
cart. port. You need to buy a monitor for it(to support the rez.) The art prg.
runs on the ST monitor, and the results are displayed on the other monitor.
As far as I could see the rez. is 1024X800(or so). The price was a couple
of thousand, but it would be a great thing for a graphic work station. They
stated in the review that the out board cpu can be accessed by any high level
lang(?). Also say an add for a 68881 board, from what I could see it plugs in
under the MMU(?). The cost of the 68881 board was about $650 CDN.(not bad).
Also GFA has a version of their Basic out that will support the chip(special
order). If anyone has anymore info on these products why not pass it on.
