I have been hearing contradictory things. First I hear that the new TOS in ROM will be available to ST developer's. Then I hear that they won't be available for the 520 and 1040 ST. I also hear that Atari will swap the TOS and MMU and add blitter on any ST for around $100, if you send your st to the atari headquarters. What is the real story, Neil ?

The real story is, we'll be making blitters (in the same 64-pin package as the 68000 chip) and the TOS ROMs (in the 6-chip set) available RSN to existing 520 and 1040 owners. -- --->Neil Harris, Director of Marketing Communications, Atari Corporation UUCP: ...{hoptoad, lll-lcc, pyramid, imagen, sun}!atari!neil GEnie: NHARRIS/ WELL: neil / BIX: neilharris / Delphi: NEILHARRIS CIS: 70007,1135 / Atari BBS 408-745-5308 / Usually the OFFICIAL Atari opinion
