Can anyone point out a source of Ray Tracing programs written in C? I would like to work on my own demos and do not have a lot of time to figure out all of the mathematical transformations. I am particularly interested in programs that allow the objects to move from frame to frame. I have heard of a Ray Tracer by Tom Hudson, but I don't know if it was ever released with the source code.

I am posting this reply as a general msg. just in case there is anyone else interested in doing some ray-tracing. The source code for Tom Hudson's ray tracer was included in the disk version of Start issue Volume 1 number 4(spring 87). Since the code is copyright I cannot post it, sorry. later Barry

I believe the program you want was published by STart, along with source (_I believe_) in the disk version of the magazine. I think it was Winter of '87.
