I have a 1040 ST and would like to know what options are available
to me. My local computer center will not sell any Mega's sans monitor,etc
To see a Mega system I have to travel out of town, to get one I need to
special order one ( $$$ upfront ) from the local computer center...
What I want to know is: Will Atari sell a minimum Mega system to those
520 and 1040 owners who already have Monitors and external Drives at a
special rate? Will you (Atari) sell Mega's at the normal rate without
the monitor (..etc)?
I really would like to stay with Atari in the future, but Atari's
present system of making promises (claims, announcements) and not
fulfilling them is driving me to consider switching to a different
vendor in the future.
NOTE: I, being a CS student, will certainly be buying equipement for
myself, perhaps for a company, and recommending purchases to friends
in the near future. What can Atari do for students and people to
maintain vendor loyalty?
