I would like to cast my vote for a free/pd multitasking kernal!!! Along this line, would stand alone applications such as publishing partner be able to survive in the multitasking environment or would applications have to be specifically written for this kernal? I use a 1040 with publishing partner and I would like to be able to switch back and forth between PP and a text editor without having restart each application. Multitasking seems like the answer to me.
