I've seen some messages asking how to start a GEM application from the auto folder. There is a program (not Public Domain unfortunately) from Gfa (the guys who put out Gfa-Basic) called Gfastart which has to be in the auto folder and reads in a text file which states the name of the program(s) to be started. You can also pass parameters or other filenames to the program to be started. I've been using it a while with Wordplus and it runs very well. It doesn't collide with other programs in the auto folder (like ramdisk or keyboard definitions) nor with accesories If anybody wants to have the address of Gfa, please email me since I don't have it here at the moment. Hope this helped a little.
