About the DVI format documents. There is a program on the Houston server called DVI.UUE which will allow you read DVI files on monochrome systems with 1 Meg minimum. So reading .dvi files isn't impossible. What bugs me are the .tex files that are used to generate the DVI files and require access to TEX or LATEX or some such thing.
