Hi Everyone! I remember hearing a few months ago somebody mentioning a version of TEX called CTEX. Is this a public domain version of Tex? Is it finished? is if available? I have been offered several thousand dollars worth of typesetting type work that I could do on a laser printer. It is of the nature that TEX would be the *ideal* choice of a system. I'm sure others are interested too. Thanks, Pete Santangeli pete@utgpu

We just got the complete distribution of TeX for our SUNs, and CommonTeX was on the tape too. I downloaded the directory and fixed the path seperators in the file handling, etc. Compiles perfectly....but requires a lot of memory. 2 Megs would probably be a good idea. Anybody have any tips on how to get CTeX running on a smaller machine witha core dump facility? exodus@uop.edu BTW, the fonts and macros are to be stolen from the Pascal TeX distribution.
