Obviously Mr. Santangeli hasn't used a TRS-80 in some time. LS-DOS 6.3 compares to the early versions of TRSDOS much as (name your favorite well-thought-out, essentially bugless OS) compares to early versions of CP/M. ---- George Madison -------------------- ''Your logic is impeccable, Captain; we are in grave danger.'' -- Mr. Spock ('The Changeling') ''Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Actually, I used a model III until recently (2 years). I agree that some 3rd party dos's for the TRS80 put many current OS's to shame. But I said TRSDOS. I don't consider Radio Shack's switching to LDOS (or whatever) to mean that it is the same OS. it isn't (I know, switch the posting to comp.sys.trs80..) No flames please, I was just clarifying. Consider the subject closed. Pete Santangeli
