Arthur Brown company. (It's hardware, and should work faster than OmniRes or whatever...) I remember a few weeks ago, someone posted a message about this product but I can't remember what was said. Does anyone out there have any experience with the ST Video Box? I'm planning on using it to run color programs on my monochrome system. +-----------------------+------------------------------------+ | Jim McCabe | BITNET: jemccabe @ mtus5.bitnet | | G31 ECH MTU | UUCP: mccabe2 @ mtuvaxb.uucp | | Houghton, MI 49931 | mccabe @ m-net.uucp | +-----------------------+------------------------------------+

they wouldn't be selling it and were refunding the money from advance orders. It seems that it worked but burnt out after being left on for a couple of hours. jim CEN at PSUVM

Last word I heard from E. Arthur Brown company was that they had stopped taking orders for the ST Video Box and were refunding money for orders that had already been received. According to their explanation, when they started bench testing the ST Video Box, they found that it would consistently "burn-out/ fail" after a couple of days use. They went on to apoligize for not adequately testing the product before starting the Ad campaign. The inventor of the ST Video Box is, according to E. Arthur Brown company, in the process of investigation/re-design of the circuitry involved. If anyone has heard that a new/improved ST Video Box has been released, please let me know.....
