I don't know RTX but if it is any good (as the majority of articles say) then I rather suggest that Atari *BUYS* the RTX multitasking system from Beckemeyer and releases it then into the public domain. Making the ST a more workable computer should be the task of the manufacturer and not the burden of (small) independent software companies. (Just _somehow_ I doubt this will happen...) It should be in the public domain, so that software companies can write software for RTX and provide RTX with the software. Else the conservative company will keep on writing TOS appl. I hope someone at Atari will step forward and give their position on this issue. <<<<wallman-george@yale.uucp>>>>> <.......................IIII, ..< <......III, ..........IXI, .....< <.....IXIIXI, ......IXI,, ......< <....IXI,,IXI, ...IXI,, ........< <...IXI,, .IXI, IXXI,, .........< <..IXXI,, ..IXXXXXI,, ..........< <.IXXI,, ....IXXXI,, ...........< <IXXXI,, .....III,, ............< <<<<<<<<<wallman@yalecs>>>>>>>>> wallman@yale WALLMANN@CTSTATEU.BITNET
