We are investigating the possibility of using our Ataris ST's in conjunction with our Laser printer. The printer is made by Electronic Printing Systems Ltd - Model 4045 CP. The idea would be to produce output from packages such as Easydraw & Dega Elite onto the laser. Can anyone advise on the feasibility of this, what is involved in interfacing and costs etc ... If it's the same beast, you had best be prepared for incredible headaches in trying to use it with your ST's. If you already are an expert in the 4045's internal formats (especially of fonts), you may have a chance of using it, but it has peculiarities that can make it frustrating and unpleasant to deal with. from the asymp S [of] TOSCA tot T lyn cole, IH 1C-201 ic A AT&T Bell Laboratories al B Naperville, IL 60566 l L (312) 979-2729 y E (ihnp4!ihlpa!tosca)
